Grandpa Max rubbed his chin, searching his memory for any clues about an extraordinary tree branch. But he got nothing. There were many incredible things in this world, so he was hoping he had heard of it.
Unfortunately, he didn't.
"So what's that tree branch got to do with you?" Ruby asked.
"I can't explain that as I don't understand that myself. All I can tell you is that it was very dangerous that could have wiped all of us out, so I needed to deal with it."
Grandpa Max looked at Lex for a few moments and nodded. He decided not to inquire much about it since Lex didn't seem to willing to tell them. He asked, "So basically, you got into that state while dealing with that?"
Lex nodded.
"Well, I mean, it's normal. If that thing really had the power to wipe us all out, then it must be hella powerful, and dealing with it will obviously take a lot," Denver said.
