Riding past all of the soldiers and jumping off her horse as near Leo as she could without actually charging him down, Camila ran up the last few steps, raised her fists…
And powerlessly brought them down upon Leo's chest, her strikes carried by nothing but her frustration rather than her anger.
Poof, poof, poof, the mortars continued to shower the distant battlefield with explosives.
Pat, pat, pat, pat… Camila's fist fell upon Leo's chest over and over again, all the way to the point where the girl tired herself down and ended up resting her forehead against the top of Leo's chest, breathing heavily to regain her strength.
It was also at this point that Camila realized both the weirded-out look Leo was giving her… but also the curious looks thrown her way by all the soldiers who weren't currently busy massacring the rebellious nobles from an extremely safe distance.
