Natasha hesitantly pulled away, sitting back on her heels and looking up at him with frustration. "You don't seem happy, David. You seem... distracted."
He glanced away, unable to meet her eyes. "I've got a lot of work. That's all."
Natasha's expression hardened, and she stood up, smoothing her dress. "You need to get over whatever this is. We have a future to build, and I won't let anything or anyone ruin it."
David nodded absently, still lost in his thoughts. "Yeah, you're right."
Natasha leaned in, her voice a seductive whisper. "Remember, David. I'm the one here with you now. Focus on us."
He simply nodded and shifted in his seat, withdrawing from her ministrations. She licked his shaft one last time like a lollipop before watching him tuck it in with a frown.
Standing up, she crossed her arms and demanded, "What was your relationship with Carissa?"
David said nothing, his gaze distant.
