Carissa ignored the person who turned out to be Lucas and looked away. He took a step forward, prompting her to yell, "Are you stalking me?"
He shook his head, explaining he just happened to see her while driving past. "I don't want to ever do anything that you don't like, Carissa."
She scoffed. "Get lost then," she retorted.
Reluctantly, he said, "I'm sorry," but she ignored him. When he tried to touch her, she flinched, snapping, "Don't fucking touch me."
Lucas nodded and offered, "Let me give you a ride home."
"Just fuck off," Carissa bluntly refused, glaring at him. Then the bus arrived and she got in.
Lucas watched as the bus left, groaning to himself. "I must find a way," he muttered, clenching his fist. He noticed passersby staring at him and entered his car, zooming off in frustration.
