Carissa stared at her hesitantly, stumbling over her words. "What happened there? You..." Daisy trailed off, catching a strange scent from Carissa. Her eyes widened. "Did you... sleep with him?"
Carissa's mouth fell open, taken aback by her blunt question. After a moment of silence, she sighed and nodded, causing a gasp to escape Daisy's lips. She nearly yelled, "You had sex with him...?"
"Shh." Carissa covered her mouth, shaking her head. She glanced behind her to see if her daughter was within earshot and whispered, "We didn't have sex. It was just, um... oral."
A sly smile spread across Daisy's face. "Wow, are you crazy? How did that happen? Did he lure you or did you seduce him?" "Who did you seduce, Mommy?" Angelina's voice interrupted, causing them to freeze. The little girl walked up to her mother and tugged on her blouse. "Sweetheart?" Carissa looked down at her daughter innocently. "How are you?"
