Darian kept his sword at the ready, his gaze shifting warily around the cavern. "Just because it's meant to be here doesn't mean it's safe. We don't know what activating this thing will do."
Mara, her face illuminated by the light of the monolith, looked at Wei Lin. "Are you sure about this? If we unleash something we can't control—"
