Denzel stiffened at the mention of Lisa, and his eyes reddened instantly. Valerie could feel the emotional trauma he was going through and discharged the staff.
"Everyone, time is far spent. You should all go about your work, and those who are on the day shift can go home. Everything else will be communicated to you through HR."
Aurora feared what was going to happen next if she was left alone with Denzel and Valerie.
Having been enslaved by a mafia don for a greater part of her life, she could not help but fear that Denzel might eliminate her, or even Valerie.
"You want to kill me too?" Aurora asked audibly, gaining everyone's attention. Denzel was disheartened.
Before he could do something he might regret, Valerie asked Aurora, "What are you talking about?"
