Luna Valerie woke up after a few hours, feeling rejuvenated. The sleep had restored her energy, but she was disappointed not to see Alpha Denzel beside her.
Sighing, she went to freshen up in the bathroom but ended up taking a shower and wearing a pair of jeans and a turtleneck.
Stepping out of her room, she heard the door to the Alpha Chamber open, and Ashley stepped out, also changed and refreshed.
"Val, are you alright?" Ashley asked worriedly. Valerie smiled and responded, "Of course. How about you?"
"I'm good, but you fainted, so I was disturbed," Ashley cleared the air. Valerie sighed. "That was because I was tired. I never rested when I went to Vegas and had to return immediately to not miss the coronation."
Ashley was very grateful, and remembering what the pack members had in store for Valerie, Ashley encouraged her.
"I heard a moonlight party is ongoing. Why don't we join them?"
