The doctor stiffened, having run out of options. "Please come with me." He led Alpha Lawn to the back of the hospital where cremations were usually conducted.
"I am very sorry, but those are her ashes."
Alpha Lawn collapsed to his knees on the ashes, shocking the pack doctor with his declaration. "You and the entire medical team are banished."
The doctor froze. "Alpha, what are you saying?"
"If you respected me as the Alpha, you should not have cremated her without my consent. I will get a new medical team. Warriors, strip them, and get them out of here."
It was too late for the doctor to reverse what had been done. The real body of the Luna had already been sent away, and he had already taken a vow to not mention it, or the wicked witch would drain the life out of him.
Alpha Lawn was so saddened that the only warmth he felt was when he saw his children, who would not stop asking.
