"Alpha, Beta Alessia has returned to the pack," Burke said over the phone. Alpha Denzel froze as relief washed over him. Then again, where could she have gone? He couldn't help feeling suspicious with all that was going on, though knowing that Alessia would never betray him.
"Put her on the line."
"Alpha, she's in the shower," Burke replied, adding, "she looked tired, and when I tried to talk to her, she went inside the shower."
Alpha Denzel had a bad feeling about this, requesting, "Put her on the line as soon as she comes out. I'm coming back to the pack."

Alessia was running from the Omega's community to the pack house when she felt trapped under something. It covered her whole body. It was a net. As she struggled to get out of it, she felt a burning sensation so raw it caused her wolf to weaken.
