Chapter 24 - [24] Divine

Luke, now with a terrifying slit in his eyes, scoffed at the current situation. Glancing at the multiple notifications directly appearing in his vision, his expression remained as indifferent as usual.

[Congratulations! You have acquired a new spell ]

[Draconic Eyes awakened!]

It's not saying acquired... Rather awakened.

Is it saying I have a dragon bloodline or something? No, that can't be true...

Our Bloodloom clan don't have any dragons as their ancestors. Then... Is it related to my first soul? It should be... Neltharion Drogos, what a mystery...

As Luke cleared his head of all unnecessary thoughts, he directed his Mana into his eyes and observed Mana particles hovering in the air.

This newfound ability became apparent to him as he woke up lying on the city wall. His eyes, which had been hurting badly before he lost consciousness, had now changed, granting him the ability to perceive the flow of Mana around him.

As for his new spell, it manifested naturally once his Spirituality reached the 500 mark.

This spell granted him the ability to dominate anyone with a lower spirituality than his own, using sheer purity. However, the targeted individual had to be within the range of his spiritual sense for the spell to take effect.

With his spiritual sense extending to a limit of 2 kilometres, the distance was no longer a concern.

Spells aside...

Does it mean crossing 500 points in Mana channels would do something like this again? I need to be careful then...

He turned his head and gazed at the massive white fluid surrounding him, then pointed his finger at it.

<Clean>

Using the spell three more times, Luke successfully cleaned up all the fluid from his chrysalis.

Despite being unconscious inside the chrysalis, Luke was able to assess the situation outside due to the upgrade of his spiritual sense.

At first, he was unsure of the origin of the chrysalis, but soon he realized that it was related to his system, particularly Neltharion Drogos.

That's enough I suppose, no one will know now... Although I highly doubt it will fool Cassandra, she wasn't affected by my spell and that brute Helena also saw it... Let's just wait...

...

After the massacre of thousands of Goblins and the defeat of a fifth-rank monster leader, Gluanna City was finally at peace again.

Though this incident claimed the lives of over a dozen Magicians, many of the deceased were elderly and had no surviving family to mourn them.

Additionally, the first Elder of the Bloodloom clan also perished in the battle.

This news spread far and wide, reaching as far as the Royal capital. Even some powerful Elves from Elshire Forest came to check up on them later.

However, upon learning that a powerful spiritual pressure assisted them during the battle, all the major forces couldn't help but feel confused.

A pressure strong enough to hold back an entire army of goblins and a fifth-rank leader into a state of trance and render them motionless? It was absurd to even hear such stupidity.

However, there was a possibility that a passing powerful Magician helped them out by sheer coincidence.

Be what it was, now that the dungeon break was over, it was the responsibility of the Royal Magicians to figure out the person responsible.

...

At the heart of the Elshire forest lay the Fairy Light City, centred around the majestic Dryad Tree.

The Dryad Tree, also revered as the Divine Tree, was a sanctuary forbidden even to members of the royal family, except for the ruler of the Elves.

Standing nearly a hundred meters tall, the tree exuded grace and grandeur, its presence commanding awe and reverence from all who beheld it.

With its unparalleled height, the Divine Tree had served as the residence of divine beings throughout the generations of the Elf, offering the perfect vantage point for overseeing their realm.

Simultaneously, as the powerful pressure enveloped the entire Gluanna city, a womanly figure materialized out of nowhere on the topmost branch of the Divine Tree.

The most peculiar aspect was the way wooden antlers protruded from the back of her head.

Leaning against its trunk, she continued to gaze in the direction from which such a potent spiritual force had emanated.

However, a female voice soon resounded in her ears: "My Lady, should we act?"

Hearing her disciples' words, or rather those of the ruler of the Elf country, the emerald-haired female smiled. Her gaze fixed on Gluanna City, she finally answered in a melodic voice, "No need..."

...

Royal Capital, Centre of the Estomano Continent.

In the Royal Chamber, a majestic voice broke the silence. "Your city was attacked... You heard the news, right?"

"Hmm..."

"Are you going then?" the voice inquired once more.

"No... I'll stay."

The man, noble as the ruler, smiled at his lover's response and grinned. "That's more like it... Let's go to bed."

"Alright..."

...

Royal City, Saintess Cathedral.

The three-story-tall holy monument was constructed solely to provide comfort to the divine saintess. Its architectural complexity was unparalleled in the entire royal city.

Situated in the middle of the Holy River, it resembled more of a small island than a cathedral.

The divine Saintess was different from the other divine beings. Unlike them, she purposely showed herself in front of the others to gain support and to unite the entire Human race. For she was the chosen and divine entity, no one could ever hope of going against her. Not because of her status, but because the mere strength that she held was potent enough to destroy an army of monsters with just a shake of her fingers.

At the moment, outside the cathedral, numerous devotees of the Saintess and the Goddess of Light were engaged in prayer, prostrating themselves like obedient children.

Since the 7th day of every month allowed free access for everyone to visit the cathedral, a crowd had gathered outside for the sole purpose of praying.

Despite this, entry was strictly prohibited to everyone, including the Salazar family, without the Saintess's explicit permission.

However, amidst the devout prayers for the Saintess's well-being, an unexpected figure was engaged in something entirely different—none other than the Saintess herself.

The main chamber of the Saintess.

"Mmm~~"

In a bed as vast as the giants, a naked, fairy-like woman writhed with intense pleasure.

"Ooh~~ I'm cumming again~" she moaned, her silver eyes squinting in bliss as she pleasured her little sister with delicate, jade-like hands.

*Swish*

With powerful pressure, she discharged a stream of holy water into the air.

"M-Mother of pleasure~~ Mmm~ Soo G-good~~" she moaned while her lower body continued to release spiritual essence like never.

Done with that, she slumped onto the bed and tried to calm her mind.

"That felt amazing... Hehe, I forgot how many times I did it today since morning," she giggled as her face turned into a shy one.

However, a voice soon resounded directly in her mind: "Holy Mother, the royal family has arrived... Your orders?"

A knowing look appeared on her face, which gradually morphed into one of disappointment. She then stood up, fixed her shiny pink long hair, and reluctantly prepared herself.

"Send them to the waiting room for now," she directed her message in a commanding voice.

Well, I can always pleasure myself at night... Hehe~
