As soon as Mamta left, Rudra peeped outside. When he was satisfied that Mamta was gone, he closed his door. Rudra had an injury in his leg and was not able to walk properly.
Now Rudra sat there for some time and started remembering the things he saw in that room again and again. "Whatever I am seeing, it seems as if I have seen them before" Rudra was thinking in his mind.
After half an hour Mamta started coming down with food in her hands, after which Rudra hid the soap and quickly came inside with the food.
At that time Mamta was about to say something when Rudra closed the door.
Now Rudra was eating food when he remembered seeing something inside the room. "Oh yes, that picture! Maybe I have seen it somewhere, I have seen it somewhere, why can't I remember?"
Rudra could not see her face properly, after which he thought that if he sees them again, he will remember everything. Then Rudra quickly ate his food and cleaned the utensils and kept them aside. Rudra quickly took the utensils and started leaving from there.
Rudra went upstairs and knocked on Mamta's door. "Maa ji, please open the door". Immediately after this, Rudra started thinking in his mind, "Why does she close the door after so long, anyway, I have to see that picture".
Mamta opened the door and said, "Oh, you came so early". After which, Rudra gave the utensils and said, "Take your utensils, Maa ji".
Now Rudra was giving them to her when she intentionally dropped all the utensils on the floor. "What has happened, please forgive me, I will pick them up right now", saying this, Rudra sat down and started picking up the utensils. Even though Rudra was picking up the utensils, his entire focus was still inside the house, after which he found that the picture was not there where it was placed and the idol kept near it was also not there.
Seeing all this, Rudra quickly picked up the utensils and handed it over to Mamta and went downstairs. After going downstairs and closing the door, Rudra started thinking in his mind, "What is Maa ji doing? Why would she have taken down that picture and all those idols? What secret was hidden inside them? I have to find out soon, lest it gets too late."
Rudra was not able to sleep thinking about Seema. He was restless and various questions were running in his mind, the answers to which were very important to find. Some answers were probably in front of him but he was not able to see them. Slowly the day was passing and Rudra could not understand what he should do.
Rudra had not eaten food in the morning either and the food that Mamta had given him, he had kept it nearby. Now at night, Rudra felt hungry and he picked up the food and started eating it. After eating the food, Rudra's stomach was completely full. Shortly after this, Mamta knocked on Rudra's door once again. "Rudra son, Rudra son, open the door, I have brought food for you." Now Rudra also opened the door after hearing the voice. He did not feel like eating at all but he did not want to return the food to her. He was thinking that if he returned it now, Mamta might feel bad, due to which he took the food. After closing the door, Rudra lay comfortably on the sofa. Slowly the night started, Rudra was still lost in thoughts, he had no attention on the food, the food was lying in the open.
Now once again at midnight his door started ringing. "Rudra, Rudra" Mamta called out. Mamta's voice was coming from the door but this time her way of calling was a little different. After this Rudra started thinking that maybe he should open the door. Now Rudra got up from the sofa and started walking slowly. Rudra was thinking what was Mamta doing at his door so late in the night.
As soon as Rudra took a few steps forward, his attention went to a rat lying nearby which was lying there in a dead state. Seeing this Rudra was stunned and started looking around. As soon as he looked towards the food, he found that another rat was lying near his food.
Now Rudra understood that Mamta had mixed something in the food. After which Rudra sat comfortably there. There was no way to see inside Rudra's house. There was a window which also had curtains on the inside.
Once again his door was knocked but when Rudra did not respond, she left from there. Shortly after that Rudra started hearing some sounds as if someone was throwing some things somewhere. When Rudra tried to look by removing the curtain a little, he found that Mamta was collecting some things and sprinkling something on them. That place was not very far from Rudra's room, there was a distance of just a few moments due to which he could hear all the sounds clearly.
After some time Mamta lit a matchstick and set fire to all the things. When the fire started blazing, he saw that Mamta was burning the same pictures and idols and along with them there were many papers which Rudra was trying to see.
After seeing all this, Rudra was feeling sorry for himself. "I wish I had looked at these pictures carefully." Rudra was seeing all the evidences getting destroyed slowly. Maybe those pictures and Rudra had some connection with each other. After seeing all this, Rudra came back and sat down because he could not do anything. Rudra was sitting inside in anger and cursing his fate. Suddenly in the night Rudra started hearing some noise.
When he went outside and looked he saw a man walking with Mamta.
He was laughing. "What have you done, what will he think when he sees it in the morning" the man said angrily.
"I thought this was right, anyway he must have seen this picture, the way he was looking inside the house it seemed as if he was suspecting me, someone must have told him something" Mamta said to that man.
"But where is Rudra" the man said angrily. "I had given him some medicine mixed in his food due to which he will not regain consciousness till morning" Mamta said.
Rudra was listening to both of them and then he noticed something strange. The man's voice sounded familiar to him. Rudra was standing at the window and watching everything when suddenly he saw that the same devil was forming in the air from the flames of the fire which he had seen in Bhangarh.
On seeing that Rudra got very frightened and started to move back but then he felt that the devil was coming near him. Now suddenly Rudra got pushed and he fell near the same sofa.
On hearing that sound Mamta and that man came near the window and tried to look inside. After some time both of them started trying to look inside. Luckily at that time the curtain flew from inside and they saw Rudra lying inside. "Did you see anything" Mamta asked. After which the man said "Nothing, it seems that Rudra slipped and fell down".
On the other side Rudra had fainted and was unconscious.
What secret was hidden inside those pictures, whose pictures were they, what was the relationship between Mamta and Seema, who was that man and why was that devil visible to Rudra?
