Athena took a deep breath before she entered the gate of the Golden Villa.
'I'm still wondering what his motive is for saving my brother. Is Dominique up to something?'
Athena didn't want to admit it but part of her was feeling grateful knowing that Dominique rescued Enzo. Alice protected him all these years. And at the same time, Dominique didn't file a case against Enzo for attempted murder.
When Athena reached the door, she saw Dominique in the living room. It looked like he fell asleep while waiting for her. His eyes were closed and his back rested on the chair.
She slowly approached him. She stopped for a moment, observing Dominique's sleeping figure. Her gaze drifted to his leg, still wrapped in a cast. Her heart clenched when the memory of the accident popped up in her mind.
