"No criminal record!! How is that possible? I was one of the witnesses. I saw him shooting Dominique, his brother-in-law!" Melody insisted, claiming Enzo was a murderer.
Enzo was confused. Did he really do it? Did he kill someone?
"Did he die? I killed someone?"
"Of course not! You didn't kill someone, Enzo!" Athena answered him.
"Don't listen to her nonsense," Lanny also spoke up.
"Mr. Smith didn't press charges against Mr. Williams," the police officer clarified.
"We have to go now. Sorry for this inconvenience once again." The police officers apologized to Enzo, Athena, and Lanny before leaving the Goddess Elixirs Cafe.
When the police officers left, Oliver felt so embarrassed because of Melody's actions. He didn't know how to face Athena and Lanny. His fiancé had ruined everything.
"You should leave now, Mr. Jones. No more negotiation will happen between our parties." Lanny declared in her stern cold voice.
