Dominique didn't expect Sasha to threaten him by committing suicide. Furthermore, her pregnancy shocked him the most.
Sasha started punching his chest while crying. "You can't divorce me. You can't abandon me. Dom."
Dominique could only clench his fists. He couldn't ignore Sasha's treat. She was capable of doing that.
So in order to calm her down, he grabbed her, embracing her. He was consumed by his guilt and regret.
'I shouldn't have married her in the first place. I shouldn't have involved her in my revenge. It was my fault for giving her false hope.' he thought, blaming himself.
"I'm sorry, Sasha. I'm sorry." Dominique apologized as he tried to console her.
Sasha concealed the smile on her face. She succeeded in threatening Dominique.
'I knew it. Dominique won't allow me to get hurt. His conscience won't be able to handle it.' Sasha tightened her grip on Dominique's body, her face resting on his chest.
