Enzo cleared his mind as he immersed his body in the water. He felt better when the cold droplet touched his skin. He didn't know how long he stayed there, just washing away his stress and worry.
After freshening up, Enzo wrapped the towel around his lower body and glanced at his reflection in the wide mirror. He took a deep sigh as he recalled his encounter with Lanny.
"I hope she already left," Enzo mumbled to himself, brushing his wet hair through his fingers.
After a while, he stepped out of the bathroom. But he was surprised when she saw Lanny leaning on the cabinet, blocking his way. She had a playful grin on her face as she sized him up from top to bottom.
"Hmm. Mr. Williams, why are you still frowning? Didn't you cool down after taking a bath? You still look grumpy." Lanny teased him as she slowly traced her steps toward him.
