Chapter 2 - Chapter-1 a mistake- (1)

Chapter-1

a mistake- (1)

Under the luminous stars and a gorgeous blue moon, everything is peaceful. I stand in a large field surrounded by people who are finally enjoying life after forgetting their problems. The bright green and red lights cast a colorful glow across the field, while the bursts of sparkles and flashes added a magical quality to the scene.

Beneath my bare feet, the crisp blades of grass send shivers up my spine. The ground beneath me is not smooth, but rather rough and uneven. Despite this, I feel an overwhelming sense of calm and tranquility. The music surrounding me, although it should be painfully loud, instead sounds like a melody played to revive the fallen.

I am in awe of the surroundings and I cannot help but wonder why everything feels so pleasing, why all of a sudden it feels like I am living in a utopia. But then, a weird noise ruins the mood. I can't make sense of it, but it's ruining everything. Suddenly, someone slams into me and I shout, "Ouch! Are you blind or what? Can't you see where you're going?" Without looking back, the person sprints away. Looking around, everything is chaotic, and everyone is running. I can't fathom the situation, but I feel the urge to run. No, I need to run, but my body won't budge.

In the end, I'm left standing there like a clueless fool, unable to understand what's happening or what emotion I'm feeling. Until I start to stumble and lose control of my legs, and then everything starts going black. I start falling over my back, but instead, someone breaks my fall and holds me. I can feel that person's hand on my waist. Luckily, I catch a glimpse of his face. His hair is a beautiful, bushy silver, His dark eyes are black as the night. I try to say thank you, but I'm too tired and lose consciousness.

Later-

As I gradually regain consciousness, a heavyweight seems to be pressing down on my eyelids, making it difficult to open them. Despite the struggle, I force my eyes open, only to find that my vision is still hazy and blurred. Though two things are sure: I'm in As I slowly rise to my feet, a sharp pungent smell invades my nostrils, causing my eyes to water. I stagger forward, but my legs wobble, threatening to give way at any moment. Collapsing onto my knees, I peer around the corner, squinting through the haze of dust and spider webs that coat every surface. The entire room is in a state of disarray, with discarded objects and debris strewn about haphazardly. My eyes lock onto the source of the foul stench, and I recoil in horror as I realize it's the unmistakable odor of something rotting. Suddenly the room starts spinning, and before I can shout for help I collapse, losing consciousness once again.

I wake up to the sensation of someone touching my legs, which sends shivers down my spine. I'm scared and lie still on the floor, not moving an inch. Instead of leaving, the person barks in a gruff tone, "Wake up, brat! This is not a place to sleep." It's a woman's voice, rather coarse, belonging to someone in her 40s or 50s, "I know you're awake now. Don't make me repeat myself and sit up," she says in a dominating voice. Scared, I try opening my eyes. to my surprise, my eyes open easily this time without any resistance. Instead of looking at the woman, I first sit up with the support of the wall. I realize that this is a different room from the one I first woke up in. But as I take a closer look, I notice there are bars in here too. I say in a shivering voice, "I'm very thirsty. Can you please bring me some water?" She stands there for a second, glaring at me before going to fetch me some water. When she returns, I catch a glimpse of her face, and I was correct she is rather old.

"Where am I?" I ask her in a bold tone trying to look, confident. She gives me a sly smile and replies, "In jail." I can't control my surprise and exclaim, "What! How?" She gives me a weird look and says, "What, how? Shouldn't you know it better, brat? Anyway, it's not my job to tell you. Later, the superintendent will call and tell you what you did, bitch."

"How dare you call me a bitch, you old hag! Do you even know who I am?" I scream at her while she just stands there laughing. After a while, she replies, "What is there to know about you? You're just a spoiled, privileged, and entitled child of wealthy parents." This makes me really angry, but before I can say anything, I hear her whisper to herself, "Sigh, I've wasted too much time on a doper like her." I just sit there trying to comprehend what she just said, but before I can ask her anything, she leaves.

"What the hell did I do?" I say to myself not knowing what problem I created this time.
