Chapter 31 - Chapter 31: Ravaged and Unrestrained

Old Ye stood there quietly without saying a word; he had never been in such a situation that he couldn't decide in an entire minute.

As Emperor Dao, he was used to swift decisions and swift action, but faced with Jenny's pleading look, he couldn't bear to reject her.

"Why don't you choose another career? I don't like dancers." Old Ye said unhappily.

He understated it, he hated dancers to the bone.

"Dad, that is my dream career; I want to become a dancer," Jenny insisted, more bold this time.

Old Ye stood there quietly. He didn't want to make Jenny sad, so he couldn't bear to reject her.

Realising that the cultivation world and the current world he is in now were parallel worlds, their morals, ethics, and entire worldviews were different.

He rummaged through the former Old Ye's memories, and then he realised it wasn't as bad as he thought; although dancers were not as famous as other entertainers, they existed, and they had their recognitions.

"If you want to become a dancer, you can become a dancer as you wish," Old Ye smiled and said.

Jenny looked at him with a face filled with disbelief. She didn't expect Old Ye to support her; the former Old Ye didn't let her become a dancer. Despite all her efforts to convince him, he didn't expect the new Old Ye to support her easily in just a few minutes.

"Grandpa, does that mean I can become a dancer?" Jenny asked happily, her smile becoming brighter every second.

Old Ye nodded and then replied naturally, "Of course, I will even get you the best coach in the world and help you win all the competitions you participate in."

Since Old Ye has made up his mind to support Jenny, he will make sure she isn't mediocre.

Jenny leapt on her feet and jumped around excitedly. She was really happy, and she didn't believe what Old Ye promised. The best coach in A-city, not even in the entire country, was not easy to hire. With their financial situation, she couldn't even dream of it.

When John came out of his room after changing and saw Jenny screaming in celebration, he looked at them blankly.

"Come, let's eat," Old Ye said. He knew if he allowed the celebration to go on, the packaged food they bought would get cold.

After dinner, Old Ye dropped the invitation card the Wilson patriarch gave him on the day and walked out of the house.

He clasped his hands behind his back and strode around the backyard, looking at the large space in the backyard. He nodded his head in satisfaction; he only needed to dig a pond and put the fish he was going to buy the next day, and then the crops he was going to plant; he had already made up his mind on that.

His eyebrows suddenly knitted like he was in deep thought before looking towards the sky.

Old Ye's face turned dark, and he suddenly tore the space and disappeared into the void.

Inside a large room, someone was tightly tied to a chair, and over twenty people were looking at him coldly.

The person tied to the chair had his face covered in blood, the shirt on his body was shredded into pieces, and his exposed flesh was littered with bloody marks. He looked like someone who had gone through a lot of torture.

"Hayden, you were very proud of yourself during the day, acting high and mighty before me. A mere cleaner dared to look at me point to my face and scold me. After I am done with you, I will go and look for that bastard and make him suffer worse than what you are going through now." Talking about that person, Manager Sam's eyes flashed with ruthless light, and his face was cold, revealing the hatred he had for Old Ye.

If Manager Sam hadn't called the name of the person tied to the chair, no one would have been able to recognise that the person tied to the chair was Hayden; his face was beaten beyond recognition.

"Where is he?" Manager Sam asked coldly.

After he captured Hayden from a hotel, where he was in a meeting with his future business partner. He has been torturing Hayden to tell him the whereabouts of Old Ye, but Hayden is stubborn like a bald donkey; he refuses to speak despite experiencing hell in his hands.

Manager Sam didn't think and would never believe that the young man was Hayden's grandfather; he was inclined to think that Old Ye, whom he met during the day, was Hayden's friend.

"Are you deaf and dumb? Where is he? fuck!" Manager Sam exploded and landed a punch on Hayden's face.

"Argh!" Hayden cried out in pain.

Manager Sam chuckled. He was very pleased with himself. The slap he received during the day made him so angry that if he hadn't captured Hayden and tortured him, the anger would never have left him.

"Seeking death!" a murderous voice roared coldly.

Before anyone could think of what was going on, an unnerving, bone-breaking sound came with a painful howl.

Everyone looked in that direction and saw that Old Ye had pulled out one of the arms of the thugs from his body in the room. Still dazed, Old Ye pulled out another arm. Everything happened too fast; some of the thugs passed out of shock. The sight was too gory.

Before they could catch their breath from the terror, Old Ye moved to the next thug and repeated the same action

Manager Sam stood jittering and peed in fear while shuddering; he even forgot about breathing.

Despite the thugs holding guns, the terror of Old Ye's savagery in reaping arms and legs made them unable to think of pulling the triggers.

A minute later, dismembered corpses of the thugs littered the floor. Manager Sam's eyes rolled over, and he fell to the floor, fainting. He had never witnessed such horror before.

When Old Ye looked at Hayden, who was tied to the chair covered in his blood, his anger surged beyond the roofs.
