Chapter 19 - Chapter 19: The Healing Pill

parking the bicycle. Old Ye walked over, saying, "It is your luck for meeting this Lord today; you are not going to die in a few days anymore; you should burn incense and kowtow in your family ancestral hall for getting this pill from me."

Squatting down, Old Ye brought out a pill from his storage ring and opened the old man lying on the ground mouth.

"Stop!" a melodious voice shouted at Old Ye.

But Old Ye didn't even behave like someone who heard it. Putting the pill in the old man's mouth, he stood up and looked in the direction of the pretty lady rushing towards him with ten hulk-like men in black suits behind her.

"I asked you to stop; why didn't you stop?" The beautiful lady asked in anger.

The spy she kept around her grandfather informed her that her grandfather feigned fainting again to get her another blind date. She rushed over only to see Old Ye feeding her grandfather an unknown pill.

Old Ye glanced at the beautiful lady and retracting his gaze, before walking towards his bicycle.

One of the reasons Emperor Dao didn't have any dao companions in the immortal world was that, in his eyes, both men and women were all the same, treating them equally.

Reincarnating into Old Ye, the habit of not appreciating beauty was still deeply engraved in his soul.

Being ignored by Old Ye, the beautiful lady became angry. The handsome young man didn't even help her grandfather up from the ground. "What did you feed my grandfather?" the beautiful lady said in a panicked voice as she rushed to help the old man up.

"Little girl, you can't afford it." Old Ye retorted nonchalantly and climbed on his bicycle.

Hearing Old Ye's words, the beautiful lady became angrier. She is the daughter of the Wilson family, one of the richest families in A-city.

How could she not be angry when someone who couldn't afford an original suit said she couldn't afford his lousy pill?

The bodyguards she came with rounded Old Ye up, all taking an attacking stance.

The atmosphere was brewing with gunpowder.

But what made it strange was that the beautiful lady who was supposed to give the order was so angry that she was only trembling without saying a word.

The old man lying on the ground began to coughing.

"Grandpa, are you alright?" The beautiful lady squatted and helped the old man up.

"I have not been better," the old man responded with a smile, getting up on his feet in an agile manner.

A pleasant surprise appeared on his face; he had never seen such a magical pill in his life before.

Looking at Old Ye, he asked with a smile, "Young man, what kind of pill did you feed me?"

Old Ye wasn't someone who followed conversation logic; he ignored the old man, faced the bodyguards blocking his way, and said coolly, "Step aside, I want to leave."

His display of arrogance angered the beautiful lady even more; she scolded in anger, "Who do you think you are? My grandfather is talking to you, and you want to leave. Where did you get the sense of superiority from?"

Old Wilson laughed; he didn't expect his granddaughter to go off the handle after he was being ignored.

"Friend, I hope you are not upset over my daughter's words." Old Wilson walked towards Old Ye and asked.

"This Lord doesn't take your little girl's words to heart." Old Ye responded casually with an expressionless face.

Old Wilson burst into laughter, but his granddaughter fumed, releasing smoke from her six orifices after being called a little girl by someone her age.

Old Wilson pulled out a bank card and an invitation card from his pocket.

"Friend, take this as an appreciation for giving me a pill."

Old Ye wasn't courteous; he took the invitation card and bank card and rode the bicycle away.

"Grandpa, why did you invite that arrogant boy to your birthday party?" the beautiful lady asked unhappily.

Her evaluation of Old Ye is pompous, arrogant, and unreasonable; with such an evaluation, she has a terrible impression of Old Ye.

"Jane, what do you think of him?" Old Wilson asked smilingly.

Jane pouted and retorted, "Grandpa, don't set me up with that arrogant boy; I will not agree to it."

"He is very handsome," Old Wilson insisted with a cackle.

"Grandpa!" Jane stomped her foot and called out.

"Alright, alright, you know grandpa loves you the best," Old Wilson said with a smile, placating his granddaughter.

Old Ye wasn't aware that he was already a potential suitor for Old Wilson's granddaughter; he was standing before a bank gate.

"Beacon bank," Old Ye muttered.

"Punk, get out of the way; why are you blocking the way?" A voice roared behind Old Ye, who was blocking the entrance to the gate.

Old Ye glanced at the car windscreen and retracted his gaze without moving.

The driver of the car got down from the car and walked towards Old Ye in anger; his hair was tinted yellow, and he was bubbling gum in his mouth.

"Punk, do you know I can cripple you and toss you into the streets?" the angry young man asked Old Ye in anger.

"Someone who can cripple this Lord isn't yet born, yellow head; while this Lord was moving winds with a wave of hand and collapsing mountains with a shake of body, your ancestors were running under the rain naked," Old Ye retorted with an expressionless face.

The young man with tinted yellow hair was shocked; he didn't expect to run into someone more arrogant than him as the Wilson family's young master.

Before young Master Wilson could respond to Old Ye, Old Ye had already walked into the bank.

"Dude, get your car out of the way," a car driver trying to get into the bank blocked by Young Master Wilson's car shouted.

"Shut up for me!" Young Master Wilson retorted in rage.

When Old Ye got into the banking hall, he looked around in confusion.
