After sending the seventeen contractors to a place where they had to survive through luck, he turned to his grandson.
"John!" Old Ye smiled brightly as his gaze fell on his new grandson. Nothing could move an existence like a Dao Emperor, but this time, he was moved to tears because what he wished for and the greatest regret of his life were all fulfilled without him making any effort at all.
John stared at the handsome man who made the bunch of contractors disappear just like air. With confusion and fear, he asked, "Who are you?"
Old Ye didn't care if they would recognise him as their grandfather or not; he was satisfied that he was their grandfather.
"I am your grandfather; we have lived for many years together; how come you can't recognise me? Don't let me smack your ass." Old Ye responded immediately; he was very excited to talk to his new grandson.
While he was in an immortal world, he barely communicated with people, which is why his words were forceful.
John even became more confused; his grandfather will never use the word ass when talking to him, and he began to suspect Old Ye.
While the two of them were looking at each other wordlessly, the phone in John's pocket started ringing, and he immediately picked up the call, looking excited. "Big sister!"
Old Ye could tell how excited he was to answer the call, but he became uncomfortable when he remembered that the kid wasn't joyful while he was talking to him.
He looked at the phone that John was using to communicate strangely; although he had assimilated all the real body owner's memories, there was information about the phone. Seeing it with his eyes was a big magic to Old Ye.
"My big sister is in the hospital." John let out an askance shout with his eyes open, and then his face turned dark after the shock was gone.
The call ended immediately, although Old Ye wasn't listening to the call conversation. From the way John was looking angry, he could tell one of his new granddaughters was in danger.
"Hurry, take me to the hospital!" Old Ye said anxiously, He has barely seen his new grandchildren, and one life is in danger. How can he remain calm in such a situation?
Before John could make up his mind on what to do, he was standing right at the gate. How he covered a hundred metres to the gate was a shocker to him.
How he arrived at the gate by a breath of time was because Old Ye teleported him. Old Ye was proficient in the way of space and the law of time.
"Let's go" Old Ye pulled John's hand as he pushed the gate open and walked out of the big courtyard.
The Ye depilated house covered a large area in the heart of the city; it was so big that everyone coveted it greedily.
Old Ye looked at the moving cars with glowing eyes; although they were engraved in the original body owners' memories, seeing them was refreshing to him, and he was quite excited.
"Cars! I will buy one," Old Ye muttered as he looked at the moving cars and nodded in satisfaction. John, hearing what he said, doubted whether the handsome man could be his grandfather the more.
But John couldn't bother with such thoughts when his big sister was in the hospital and her husband wasn't in the country. Expecting the Anderson family to bother about his sister's health in the hospital is like expecting a lion to pet a rat.
"Taxi!" John shouted as he flagged down a moving taxi; he didn't bother with the younger version of Old Ye, who was looking at the moving cars with admiration.
When Old Ye recalled the situation of his new granddaughter, the beautiful moving cars that were better than those chariots in the immortal world lost their beauty to him.
Using a movement technique, he got into the car even before John, who had opened the car door, could get in.
"Drive!" Old Ye said impatiently when the dumbstruck driver looked back at him. The driver was shocked because he couldn't explain how Old Ye got into his car at all.
Shuddering in fear, the driver started the car and drove to Zion Hospital. There are lots of world-class hospitals in A-city, but the Anderson family chose the worst hospital in A-city and admitted Old Ye's daughter.
When the taxi arrived at Zion Hospital, the taxi driver stepped on the brake and turned to Old Ye, saying, "Mister, your fee is two thousand dollars."
Old Ye frowned while wondering why he should pay. He rummaged through the real body owner's memories and realised that anytime they use a taxi, they have to pay for it.
Because they left the house in a hurry, John didn't take any money; he couldn't pay for the transport.
"You should be grateful that you met Emperor Dao. I don't have money to give you, but I have something I could give you," Old Ye said nonchalantly.
The taxi driver's eyes widened in shock when he realised that he had picked up penniless passengers.
John tugged on Old Ye's shirt nervously as the taxi driver exploded in rage and shouted, "Handsome bastard, if you don't pay me my money, don't even think of leaving this car."
Old Ye's face turned gloomy; if not for the real body owner who didn't like killing innocent people, he would have smacked the taxi driver to death for calling him a bastard.
"You should be happy that I am willing to cure your impotency; take this pill and eat it, and you will become a man again." Old Ye pulled something dark from thin air, startling John and the taxi driver. The taxi driver was even more stunned because no one knew about his inability to give birth to a child, not even his wife.
"If you are not willing to take it, I will keep it and pay you with gold," Old Ye said impatiently. His new granddaughter was still more important to him.
