Now it was Witira's turn to be shocked, Witira thought that maybe Kriti was joking with her so she said, "it is not a good thing to talk of dying or killing in front of the police even jokingly".
Kriti did not respond to Witira's words and just looked at her. But her eyes showed that she was not joking.
Witira understood that Kriti was probably not joking with her.
But she didn't understand why Kriti would do this, so he asked, "But why would you do this? If Hrithik loves someone then it is his choice. If you love him, you have to respect his choices. Killing his love is not a good thing. It is not a good choice and if you do that he will start hating you, and also what do you think, you will not get his love by killing his love..... and If something like that will happens, he will break"
Witira did not say anything big. But Kriti, Kriti looked as if she had nothing entrred her ears and easily said,
"If Hrithik broke down over such a trivial thing then it means that he didn't deserve his position as the heir and you don't have to worry, I assure you, he will not break."
For the first time, Witira was so angry with Kriti. For the whole time she stayed here and saw everyone, she thought that maybe Kriti loves Hrithik and will do anything for him, and that's why she thought whatever Kriti said earlier, she must have said it in anger. But now she understood that wasn't the case.
In her rage Witira shouted at Kriti and asked.
"Why? Why won't he break?" But Kriti was not affected by Witira's anger and she spoke calmly.
"Witira, when you attain higher status in a society then you will have everything. Money, power, status, influence everything but you cannot get love. When you stand at that place, you will have to compromise and people call those compromises arranged marriages. These arrangements are not made because they cherish their friendship. They are made so that they can keep their power, their status, their money with themselves and this is done so that no one can cheat nor backstab anyone else. "
Kriti gave a very long speech but whatever she said, wasn't the answer for Witira's question so she still asked her to continue,
"Whatever you said is right, true, I agree but that doesn't mean that Hrithik will give up his choice or why will stop loving someone. He can run away from all this, What will you do then? What will his family members do?"
"He will not run away or to say it properly he cannot run away." Kriti said calmly.
The more calm Kriti was, the more Witira's anger was increasing and she did not even realize that it was coming out of his mouth.
"Why wouldn't he run away if he loved someone else and wanted to marry her. If you guys didn't agree then why wouldn't he? And you guys can never force him to marry any other girl, I will help him in doing so, and you also know that the power in my hands by then might be doubled there won't be do anyone who can stop me helping him"
Kriti was laughing at Witira's anger and smiling she said,
"Witira sometimes you tend be stupid at times? Even if you rextend your hand to help him, he won't take your hand I know you want to ask why? So I will explain it before you do so, You also know that Hrithik loves his sister very much. If he gets runs away, then the next in line will be his sister. Do you think that he will leave his sister just like that?"
While they were talking, Aira came down running from upstairs and hugging Witira she said, "I am very hungry, let's eat and sister Kriti, what were you saying, where will brother go leaving me here?"
After hearing Aira's words, both Witira and Kriti heaved a sigh of relief because they were sure that Aira did not listen to their entire conversation and hurriedly covered the gap with a lie. Witira while making Aira sit on the chair said, "Aira the thing is that your brother is going to some other friend's house day after tomorrow and we both were thinking that you might be bored here. So I was just saying, why don't you come with me to my house we will have some girl time."
Aira was very happy after hearing about it and started asking,
"Wow, I will come to your house? And is Kriti also coming with me, will we play together?
Witira was not in the mood to take kriti to her house so she plainly lied to Aira and said "no, Aira your Sis Kriti is not coming. She is busy on that day so only we both will play."
Kriti understood that the Witira was very angry with her but she did not like the idea of Aira going to Witira's house and that too alone. But before Kriti could say anything about it, Aira decided that only she and Witira were going to play all by themselves and happily announced,
"Yes, just the two of us will play, it will be great".
Kriti wanted to say something but before she could say anything the Witira said, "Kriti Did you hear what Aira said? And you know when your superior tells you something, you just have to agree. You shouldn't interrupt while they are talking, it isn't a good thing you know that right?"
with that another day passed in the blink of an eye.
