Brianna stared at her reflection in the mirror without moving. Today her face looked different. Her reddish-brown hair had lost its glow. Her face, which usually looks fresh with makeup, looks dull.
It must be because she couldn't sleep all night. Her plan didn't work. Instead of getting rid of Annica, Diggory was caught and killed.
Brianna sighed in annoyance. At least the stupid man died before he could reveal that she was the one who opened the back door. After she threatened Ginny not to open her mouth, Brianna was certain that for now, no one suspected her.
She smoothed out the mauve silk dress she was wearing and fastened two amethyst bracelets to her arms. Then she reached for a silver necklace to her slender neck. Lastly, a little perfume oil on her neck and wrists brought out the scent of roses favored by the General.
Perfect. After yesterday's setback, she would probably go to the city today. A little shopping might cure her foul mood.
