The next morning, Lady Iris was helping her husband with his court clothes. Her husband worked in the government offices and held a high position.
"When will your new friend come?" Sir Iris asked curiously as he let his wife dress him.
Lady Iris looked at her husband with a smile and answered, "The carriage will go and pick her up. She should be here for breakfast."
Sir Iris hummed in response upon hearing that but didn't add anything else. Lady Iris didn't bother to share more. She had already shared enough information regarding the matter yesterday, so no need for more.
After making sure that everything was okay, Lady Iris sent her husband off, and the concubines appeared as well.
Looking at them, she felt no energy to fight with them. At least they were diligent in serving their husband.
After sending off the husband, Lady Iris went to oversee the kitchen and made sure that a sumptuous meal was prepared.
