"Oh! A slave! Now that's interesting!" he couldn't help but say amusingly.
There was no way that Calista would be associated with a slave. It just didn't fit her at all. "What happened to her?"
"She was beaten to death by her masters," Shadow icily responded, making Orson flinch as he rode the horse.
He never expected that the fate of the slave would be so unfortunate. If that slave somehow reminded Shadow about Calista, wasn't he mistaken?
There was no way a dead person could rise from the dead, right?
Sensing that his Master unlikely believed him, Shadow added, "I watched her being buried as well."
Orson was now confused, especially after hearing such. "If that's the case, why connect Calista to the slave?"
"Because they look alike and I have a feeling that she is the same person."
