The next day, the roosters crowed and ushered another wonderful day for everyone.
In Calista's manor, the maids were busy running around, doing their chores and preparing for the day.
It was finally the day of the banquet, and unlike all the other banquets held at night, Calista chose to hold the banquet during the day. That way, the guest could still travel back to their homes in time.
With all the preparation being done at the manor, on the road, a carriage was making its way towards the Cropville village.
Sitting inside were Sir Henrich and his wife. They had been invited to the banquet and since Calista had done so much to help him in many ways, he didn't reject the invitation but decided to come.
"I wonder what occasion she is celebrating again!" his wife wondered out loud as she let out a sigh.
Sir Henrich chuckled lightly upon hearing his wife's words.
