Hayes and Orson both guarded Calista, and she didn't mind having these two men by her side.
In fact, she didn't even care about them, as she was busy talking to Madam Fischer and the girls all the way to the river.
When they arrived, the maids meticulously set the chairs and mats for the girls.
Calista was no longer allowed to fish. The maids pretty much knew that much. However, she could at least survey the waters before taking a rest.
Madam Fischer followed her, keeping a closer eye on her while the girls sulkily sat on the mat watching from a distance the river.
"How do you know that the spot is good for fishing?" Madam Fischer, who had never fished in her life, asked curiously as they walked along the river bank.
