Moments later, everyone was seated in Calista's living room with refreshments at the table.

When the maids left the living room, Calista smiled at the two guests as she adjusted her sitting posture, ready to meet Hayes's family officially.
"Thank you for coming all this way. I wasn't expecting to see you, quite so soon!" as the host, if she didn't open her mouth and speak, who was going to speak up for her?
Madam Fischer smiled politely at Calista, very much amazed by everything that she had seen so far.
