A man looked worriedly at the two girls who were sleeping soundly. If only their cheeks didn't look that sunken, he would have believed that the girls were faring well.
But he knew how bad it was for them. They were hanging on a loose thread and the more he looked at them, the more regretful he became.
If only he had stayed there for long, wouldn't he have probably gotten held of the real medicine?
If only he was powerful enough. His daughters wouldn't be in such a state.
There were so many ifs that kept on running through his mind but he knew that it was too late to think like that. At least, there was still hope. He just needed to get there as soon as possible.

As he looked at his daughters thinking like that, there was a light knocking on the carriage window and hearing that, his brows furrowed, wondering who this person was.
