The once beautiful and rich city now looks something directly out of a nightmare. The stark building, streets , Brooklyn bridge all of it has became ruined. Not a single safe place could be seen in front of their eyes.
Tony looking at the scenery in front of him. Couldn't help but say.
" I think we are on some parallel earth, it can't be our home." As his voice reached the end only murmur could be heard.
Neo looked at everything around him and try to contect Alfa but there was no reply. " I think, we are in troubles." Listening to Neo , everyone turn to look at him.
" What happened" Natasha asked.
" I can't seems to connect with Alfa."
" What" all of them shouted in unison. Alfa is less tecnological more of an magical type. How is it possible to disconnect with her.
" What should we do " Natasha asked.
Looking at everyone Neo thought about it said " we should first figure out , what had happened here then we will figure out the way back." Everyone nodded.
As they started walking on the ruined street, only bones, dried blood could be seen except destroyed buildings.
Neo can't even imagine how many people had died in this destruction. But his blood boiled with anger thinking about the culprit.
As for Tony, he was like a walking corpse. Right now only thing in his mind was his wife and daughter. The last time he saw them . And the promise he made to them. He couldn't help shade tears.
Whenever he miss them, he would think about the excuse he would give. But now watching this hell. Tony can't even think what to do now.
As for hackeye, he knew that it was a different time line but still felt angry on the person who did this.
Nothing else to do they just kept walking . And watched the city and its miserable appearance.
But just as they were turning around to a another street. They didn't notice a red light blinked a few times inside a broken shop.
They have walked for an hour by now. And not a single creature could be seen on the way. They were starting to loos hope that there might be someone alive.
And just as they decided to visit some other city. Suddenly sky changed colour and thunder clouds started to gather on top thier head.
Looking at this familiar and unfamiliar scene, Natasha was a little doubtful but couldn't remember what it's mean. As they trying to understand the situation they were in. A thunderbolt thick as bucket broke through the clouds and fell on top of their heads.
Seeing this Neo let out a smile and created a barrier which protected everyone inside. When the thunderbolt struck on to the barrier, it let out a loud noise.
" Boooommmmm"
After the smoke cleared the barrier was perfectly fine. And everyone inside barrier looked at the individual who just shot and attack at them.
" It's like your old friend is here to welcome you guys." Neo said while smiling. Even though he expected someone to alive but he didn't know it would be him. The son of odin ' thor' the god of thunder.
But looking at him , he looks a little different, slime figure with overgrown beard. Tattered clothes. Even Natasha couldn't believe that , the mighty thor would have such a day.
In the sky thor , seeing that his attack were nullified, started preparing for another strike but a voice stopped him from attacking.
" Thor it's me Natasha pls stop." When thor heard her voice, he thought it was an illusion but seeing the person alive and well in front of him . He couldn't stop but started to tremble. His eyes became moist but didn't let himself cry.
" Who are you , you can't be Natasha she died in battle in front of me. Tell me who you are or I will kill you all ." Saying that thor started to release massive amount of thunder energy. And arcs of lightning started to cover his body.
Neo didn't say anything and just pointed his finger toward thor , and thor who looked mighty just now suddenly stood straight like a military sholder. Couldn't move no matter how much he tried. And slowly started to came down.
Somewhere little further away from thor. On the top of a broken building stood 6 people. If you look closely you can see some of them are the previous Avengers.
One of them was Tony's good friend James Rhodes aka war machine, next was Bruce banner aka hulk, and the others were captain Marvel, a girl with a shield, black panther and a girl with 16 or 17 of age.
They were looking at thor who was fighting the outsider. As they watched the arc of lightning on thor body. They though a big fight is coming but suddenly thor lost all his spark and slowly going down towards the outsiders. But they can also see the struggle thor is going through.
They knew that something was wrong and promptly took action to save thor.
Rhodes with his war machine suddenly took off. Bruce transformed into a bulking hulk and started jumping towards the thor as for other they also took action on there on way. But the most surprising is the little girl.
She suddenly tapped on her watch 2 times and her whole body got cover with a nano suite same as iron man in end game.
On the other side just as Neo thought about giving thor some knuckle memory. He felt disturbence in the air all around him .
Looking at every direction Neo told his friends." Oh get ready some people are itching to fight."
Hearing this everyone got ready. Even though they were stronger than the opposite side but they weren't naive enough to underestimate thier opponents.
Suddenly a high temperature beam of light shot towards them from the sky. It was non other then war machine.
Seeing him there was some spark in Tony's eyes. He also wore his old suit from end game with better modification ofcourse. And took off toward war machine to check if he is his friend.
As for captain Marvel, she came next and took thor from there with her rainbow like speed. Neo could have stopped it but he let it go.
In the end Natasha, looking at all the familiar outfits and people specially hulk. She suddenly released her breath , and time seems to stop around them as they couldn't control there body anymore. And there eyes were started to lose their hope.
In this silent atmosphere suddenly a voice sounded.
" Are you Natasha" the one asked was Bruce banner aka the hulk.
