Four Seasons Tree!
True Master Xingheng's expression became visibly more intricate; the name was very similar to their Xingke Lineage's main cultivation technique, the Four Seasons Flowing Splendor Scripture, and this Spirit Plant was originally one of their lineage's inherited treasures.
Alas, one of their ancestral masters really didn't follow the conventions and had lost this Spirit Plant to the previous Sect Leader, and his master, True Master Xingke, was supposed to be able to reclaim it after becoming a True Master.
But for some reason, he chose not to.
And so, it remained in the hands of the Sect Leader.
For hundreds of years now.
Of course, as the current eldest disciple of the Xingke Lineage, True Master Xingheng was well aware of why they didn't take it back... The tree was extremely demanding in terms of environmental requirements.
It required an environment where all four seasons coexisted in order to grow.
The Spiritual Leaf Sect could naturally achieve that.
