Nelson Rice, the monk, immediately flared up upon hearing this and angrily said, "Are you suggesting that the entire secret realm, including itself, was just a scam?"
Greg Jensen nodded silently.
The monk cursed, "Aiden Clark, I knew it! Malcolm Gill isn't that generous. If there were treasures in the secret realm, why would he let us in?"
"It's useless to talk about this now. We should hurry and find a way out."
Greg Jensen said gravely, "The exit was closed the moment we entered. I'm guessing something must have happened outside."
Teresa Cotes became tense and said, "You mean... the exit of the secret realm won't open again?"
"It will."
Greg Jensen shook his head, "But, by the time the exit of the secret realm opens, it will be when Malcolm Gill has eliminated all his enemies."
Wesley instinctively asked, "Enemies? Where did these enemies come from?"
