Ladder Mode is the latest DLC content for "Immortal Road".
The pace of "Immortal Road" is fast, with the Cultivator's settings allowing players to determine the winner within 35–50 turns, which means a one-on-one battle could typically take one to two hours to resolve.
And the reason players play Ladder Mode is simple.
"I can't bully the AI, but that doesn't mean I can't bully you guys!"
1V1 or 2V2 is the trend here, although some players even started a 100V100 match once, with just one round taking an hour, even with a 30-second time limit per turn.
In the end, a battle turns into a meat grinder, with masses of doomsday weapons barely lasting a round on the battlefield, often getting wiped out just as they show up, truly an Apocalypse-level war within "Immortal Road".
