After a long journey, the carriage finally returned to Seterde Fortress.
Standing on the towering walls were skeletons clad in blue armor, wielding weapons, their hollow sockets flickering with eerie blue Soul Fire.
It formed a continuous line along the wall.
The guard team, following the carriage, also started looking grim.
"How come there are so many?"
"What kind of weapons are those Necromancy wielding?"
"The news mentioned that the skeletons of Lundham City use a device that shoots out pellets. It must be that."
"Do you think the people in the city have all been turned into skeletons?"
The guard team continued forward, quietly discussing among themselves.
They were the rear guard and had not participated in the necromantic wars of Lundham City. Although they had heard some news, they had not expected so many Undead Skeletons on the city walls.
The skeletons guarding the city lined up in rows; surely not all the people in the city had been killed!
