The ax-wielding skeletons guarding the Zombie King were still alive, clinging tightly to the wall beside the door, unaffected by any impact.
Across from them, at the base of the opposite wall, sat a giant with insect-like features, its head adorned with huge, ferocious black horns, and beetle-like wings spread out from its back.
Its chest had been blown open, but thankfully, it wasn't reduced to bits like a typical professional would have been.
"Wasn't it smaller when we were looking at it just now?" Wu Heng asked, puzzled.
In the surveillance, it hadn't appeared so large.
Looking at it now, it was at least three meters tall, and its build was as exaggeratedly muscular as a Beastman.
"It was of a normal size initially and grew bigger when it broke the chains," Glenda said.
"It seems to be an evolved trait," Wu Heng noted.
"Being able to change size can be quite convenient. Too large isn't always better," Glenda raised an eyebrow.
