"I follow you," Gao Deng spoke up first. He wasn't as aggressive as Edward, nor as conservative as James. Most of the time, he was kind and neutral, so he tended to side with James, but Duge's actions had shown him a new direction.
"After joining me, if you choose to betray, you will die a terrible death," Duge said to Gao Deng, seriously.
"I can swear an oath," Gao Deng raised his hand and said, "If I betray, my soul shall fall into hell, never to rise again."
"What about you, James?" Duge turned to James and smiled, "I can give you a way out. You can't beat me with force, but by following me, you could advise on my actions. Isn't that a good thing?"
It was indeed a good way out, but did you have to say it out loud?
Feeling resentful in his heart, James's face turned white and red by turns, and finally, he nodded helplessly: "Fine, I agree to follow you. Now, can you withdraw the waves?"
