What seemed like a normal situation became weird once Duge mentioned it; why does everything he says sound so off?
We're clearly enemies, do you really need to show concern?
If you're such a good person, why not put down your sword and let us capture you?
The more the men in black who were surrounding Duge and his group fought, the more irritated they became; however, they couldn't bring themselves to deliver a fatal blow. With so many comrades watching, if they killed him with a single stroke and someone decided to shirk responsibility or snitch, they'd be finished once they got back.
In a life-or-death battle, any hesitation is frustrating, especially when the guy on the other side is taunting you, really urging you to strike with killing intent!
