Unless it was a fourth generation with astonishing talents, no one was willing to do charity by casually handing out the scarce Skill Cards to mediocrities.

That is, the candidate must still have the chance to learn Beast Training Techniques; if there was no skill slot available, that would be a pity.

Generally, the souls of Pet Beasts would remain in the bodies for 3 to 7 days after death.
