Lin Wu put down the walkie-talkie, entered the library, pulled Maya, who had just borrowed some books, over to the radio, and pointed. Maya, holding back laughter, picked up the walkie-talkie: "We need some wooden boards, nails, and blankets."
"Okay," Stone said. "Do you need anything else?"
Maya looked at Wai, thinking for a moment: "Lin Wu's Hunter's skill can summon a Hunting Dog, but right now the little guy is still a baby."
Stone perked up: "You guys got a dog?"
Maya: "Mhm."
Stone: "Alright, got it."
The next morning, Stone brought the day shift folks to the supermarket base, each person grabbing and petting Wai, with Little Knife even holding Wai without letting go. When they learned that such a cute little thing was named Wai, everyone felt sorry for Wai amidst their exclamations about the tough times. Among ten Hunters from Shadow and a million players, you just had to choose the most unreliable person to be your master.
