First, the four major resource warehouses were canceled, with all resources except for building materials being converted into physical units. Building materials were not changed because they were too complex and interconnected with the workshops, serving as a small benefit Dawn left for hardcore players. Since there was no resource warehouse, there was no storage limit for building materials, and trees could be cut down to exchange for building material value with the system.
The expansion requirements for Doomsday Fortress shifted from the original 50 units of the five major resources to 250 units of building materials.
