Later that afternoon in the Hokage's Office,
"So, you decided to make me what?" I asked Granny Tsunade, who was seated in her usual chair with Shizune standing beside her.
"I had no choice. You would've been labeled a criminal and thrown in jail for killing a village council member," she said.
"That makes sense. So, I'm now the head of security for the Hokage? How does that solve the problem?" I asked.
"Shizune!" Tsunade called, looking at her assistant.
"Oh, the Head of Security for the Hokage is a new rank we've added. The person in this role is responsible for protecting the Hokage at all costs. If they suspect anyone might cause trouble for the Hokage, they can act on their own without needing orders or permission from higher authorities. In this case, you acted against Danzo because he was plotting against the Hokage, and we have proof of that. So, by killing Danzo, you were just doing your job," Shizune explained.
"Understand?" Granny Tsunade asked.
"In simpler terms, I'm your personal security?" I clarified.
"Yeah, you could say that. Got a problem with it?"
"No, I mean, I'll have more freedom and power, right?!"
"Yes, you can look at it that way. But remember, you'll also have more responsibilities. That's important if you want to be the next Hokage," she said.
"I don't want to be Hokage. I hate boring paperwork," I replied. "When is Sasuke coming back? Do you know?"
"The toad sage said he should be back tomorrow or the day after," she answered.
"Man, now I want to learn sage mode too," I said.
"You're already very strong. Other villages are worried about your strength and reckless choices. Learning sage mode right now might not be the best idea," she warned.
"The summit is still a few days away. I'll talk to Ouroboros. Maybe I can find out how to learn sage mode," I muttered to myself, ignoring her words.
"Now you're ignoring me. Great!" she exclaimed.
"Look, it's not my fault I'm this powerful. It's not my problem they're weak. And it's definitely not my problem if they get destroyed by an enemy because they were too busy worrying about me getting stronger instead of becoming strong themselves," I said. "I'm leaving now. I might leave the village for a while. If I do, I'll let you know," I said as I opened the door and walked out.
"Do I really need to leave the village to learn sage mode? I hope not. Leaving wouldn't be good for the village right now. After all, I'm the strongest here; if I'm gone, the village could fall apart quickly."
"Let's just head to the training field for now," I thought.
I walked down the road in Konoha, taking in the sights of the village.
"Hey, Big Bro Naruto!" a voice called out. I turned to see Konohamaru and his team.
"Hey, what are you guys doing here?" I asked.
"I was looking for you! Our sensei doesn't teach us many jutsus, so I want you to teach us some!" Konohamaru said eagerly.
"Yeah!" both Moegi and Ugon chimed in.
"I mean, I'm a bit busy, but if you insist, what do you want to learn?"
"Anything you want!" Konohamaru replied. "Something cool!"
"Alright, let's go to the training ground then." They nodded and followed me.
"What about your sensei? What was his name... Ebisu, right? Where is he?" I asked.
"He has some important work to do, so he said he'll meet us tomorrow for our daily mission," Konohamaru answered.
"Okay, first up, Konohamaru, your chakra affinity is Wind, right?" I asked.
"Yes!" he replied eagerly.
"And what about you, Moegi and Ugon?" I continued.
After that, time flew by as I taught them, and we had a lot of fun.
"You're such a great teacher, Big Brother Naruto. You should be our sensei," Konohamaru said.
"Don't say that. Ebisu-sensei has taught us a lot too," Moegi added.
"Yeah, but no one is as awesome and cool as my Big Brother Naruto," Konohamaru insisted.
"Alright, it's getting late. You all should head home now," I said.
"Uh... But before that, how about you treat us to something?" Konohamaru suggested.
"Yes, I want that too," Udon agreed.
"Okay, since you all did so well in training, I'll treat you. Let's go. You can pick the place," I said.
After that, we all went to a restaurant for dinner. Even though it was just evening, it was close enough to night to call it dinner.
Once we finished eating, I headed back to my apartment, wrapping up the adventure for the day and ready to get some rest.
But before that, I wanted to work on something.
What would happen if I combined Fire chakra nature with Wind chakra nature?
Kakashi-sensei taught me all the basic chakra natures, and with his help, I learned them quite easily.
"So, I combined Rasengan with Wind style and created the Wind Style Rasengan. What if I do the same with Fire and other chakra natures?" I thought.
