The subsequent morning.....
Team 7 journeyed to the mission counter, where the D-rank tasks were as mundane as ever. They handled a few of these missions and wrapped up by the afternoon. Naruto made his way to Ichiraku Ramen, ordering a meal to dine in and another to be delivered to his residence at 8 PM. His intention was to dedicate the latter part of his day to refining his Fuinjutsu abilities.
He passed Ayame his apartment key and instructed her to let herself in if he didn't respond to the door. Once back at his place, Naruto plunged back into his Fuinjutsu studies. He had mastered creating basic and foundational Fuinjutsu, but his Explosive seal and Barrier seal were still lacking, only capable of blocking attacks of D-rank or lower.
Motivated to enhance their potency, Naruto came back to his apartment, got comfortable, and unrolled the Fuinjutsu scroll as part of his daily regimen. He was already acquainted with Generic Fuinjutsu, which allowed ninja to summon stored items as needed.
Within the span of an hour, Naruto had successfully designed and activated 10 of these and then moved onto improving the Explosive Tag.
Approximately an hour later, Naruto had upgraded his Explosive Tag, which now exhibited superior performance.
The sound of a knock disrupted Naruto's concentration. Upon opening the door, he found Ayame with his delivery.
"Naruto, your meal's here," Ayame announced, smiling brightly.
"Thanks a lot, Ayame-chan." Naruto took the package from her.
"Here's your key. I need to dash, more deliveries to make." With a farewell wave, Ayame was gone, and Naruto returned the gesture before retreating back inside.
After Naruto had his meal, he threw himself back into his Fuinjutsu work. He crafted a few more explosive tags and then transitioned his attention to other Fuinjutsus.
After some time, Naruto started feeling fatigued. It was nearly midnight, and the stress of overexertion was evident.
"I need to prioritize quality over quantity. I don't need a plethora of Jutsus or Fuinjutsu. I'll master a few and make them impeccable," Naruto pondered aloud, putting the Fuinjutsu scroll aside.
As per his routine, Naruto ended his day with a bath before heading to sleep.
In this manner, 1 week passed...
Naruto acquired many Fuinjutsus and perfected most of them.
In the morning, Naruto woke up early and got ready. After dressing up, Naruto picked up the Fuinjutsu scroll and made his way to the Hokage office.
At the Hokage Office, Naruto knocked on the door, and Hiruzen invited him in.
"What brings you here, Naruto? Do you need any help with Fuinjutsu techniques?" Hiruzen inquired.
"Well, I learned everything I wanted from this Scroll. Now, as you promised, you'll teach me or give me the scroll for learning the Flying Raijin technique," Naruto stated confidently.
"You learned everything in just a week, that's impossible," Hiruzen remarked, looking at Naruto with disbelief, thinking Naruto was merely joking. However, he knew Naruto wouldn't jest about such a crucial matter. "Did he genuinely learn them?" He pondered.
"Well, not all of them," Naruto disclosed, crossing his arms.
"What do you mean by not all of them?" Hiruzen asked, his confusion evident.
"Well, I selected the Techniques according to my fighting style and those I thought I'd need the most. I also learned the Uzumaki clan's Adamantine Sealing Chains technique, so it doesn't matter if I learn all of them or not," Naruto explained.
"Well, you're not wrong, but are you sure you don't want to learn them all?" Hiruzen questioned.
"Yes. I'm sure, but if you want me to learn them all then give me the Scroll permanently and the flying raijin technique scroll as well."
"Well, I have already prepared the scroll for you, here you go," Hiruzen handed the scroll to Naruto. "It's a technique related to spacetime, so exercise caution while learning it," Hiruzen cautioned.
Subsequently, Naruto handed the Fuinjutsu scroll to Hiruzen and headed to Ichiraku Ramen for breakfast.
After breakfast, Naruto met up with his team.
They headed to the assignment desk to take on a mission.
As per usual, Hiruzen handed Kakashi some D-rank Missions. Kakashi accepted it, but Naruto intervened.
Naruto: "Jii-chan, I believe that Team 7 is ready for a C-rank mission!
Hiruzen, with a warm smile: "Naruto, I know you're strong now and capable, but C-rank missions can be quite perilous.
Sakura, nodding: "That's right, Naruto. We've only been doing D-ranks—mostly catching pets and weeding gardens."
Kakashi, with an eye-smile: "Those missions help build teamwork and basic shinobi skills."
Sasuke, crossing his arms: "Hn. I have to concur with Naruto on this one. We need a real mission, something worthy of our talents."
Naruto, determined: "Exactly! We've been training non-stop, and you know about our capabilities, Jii-chan."
Hiruzen, stroking his beard, contemplating: "Hmm...what do you think, Kakashi? Are they ready?"
Kakashi, serious now: "They've progressed swiftly and mesh well as a team. I believe they can handle it."
Hiruzen agreed, "Alright. I will assign you a C-rank mission. However, be warned, if you encounter any trouble beyond your abilities, you must retreat immediately. Is that understood?"
Team 7, in unison, responded, "Understood!"
Naruto, pumped with energy, said, "Thank you, Jii-chan! We won't disappoint you!"
Hiruzen laughed, "Make sure you prepare adequately. These missions are not to be taken lightly." He handed the mission papers to Kakashi.
"So, what's our mission, Jii-chan?" Naruto asked, slightly adjusting his blindfold.
"It's a C-rank escort mission. Team-7 will escort a bridge builder to his home in the Land of Waves. Your primary objective is to protect the bridge builder," Hiruzen explained.
"That sounds boring, but at least we're leaving the village. It's a start," Naruto commented.
"Your mission will start tomorrow. You will meet the bridge builder in the morning. So, get ready," Hiruzen instructed.
"We will depart first thing tomorrow morning. Naruto, Sakura, Sasuke; ensure you get a good night's sleep," Kakashi advised his students.
Naruto, filled with excitement, said, "This is going to be awesome!"
Sakura, smiling, said, "You got us a real mission, Naruto."
Sasuke, smirking, said, "We'll see if it's worth my time."
Kakashi turned to Hiruzen, "Thank you, Hokage-sama."
Hiruzen replied, "Good luck, Team 7. And…be careful."
Naruto saluted, "You can count on us!"
With that, Team 7, filled with a combination of excitement and determination, exited the room, gearing up for their very first C-rank mission.
"Hey! Let's eat together today. This is my treat for finally getting a decent mission," Naruto suggested excitedly.
They all agreed. After eating, Naruto bid farewell to Sasuke and Sakura and headed to the training field as usual.
Hinata was already there. Naruto had been training with Hinata every afternoon, and they were spending more time together.
Training with Naruto helped Hinata feel more at ease around him, though she still blushed when Naruto was close.
However, Hinata grew stronger, and their chemistry steadily improved. While Hinata was still not at Naruto's level, Naruto couldn't relax while sparring with her anymore.
Their daily training and practice fostered a new bond between them, strengthening them both physically and mentally.
Hinata overcame her shyness and was no longer the scared girl she used to be. She was not the same girl who would get bullied and remain silent; she knew how to defend herself.
Naruto started liking her more due to her hard work and never-give-up attitude. She had it in her; someone just had to tell her to show it and become stronger.
Every day, Naruto and Hinata trained together, and over time, it became evident that they both had feelings for each other. However, Hinata was too shy to express herself in front of Naruto, and Naruto wanted to become stronger before confessing his feelings to Hinata.
Just like any regular day, Naruto found himself at the training field, ready for another round of practice.
"Alright Hinata, let's switch things up today. I want you to focus on your offense, I'll work on my defense," Naruto suggested, his tone casual yet confident.
Naruto never pushed Hinata beyond her limits. However, he didn't exactly go easy on her either. He believed in her potential, knew she was capable of so much more. He wanted her to be stronger, to face the hardships that came with it.
As a member of the Hyuga clan, Hinata already had excellent control over her chakra. She was the Byakugan holder, after all.
Hinata tried attacking Naruto multiple times with her Gentle Fist technique, aiming to block his chakra network. But her attempts were futile.
It was as if she could see Naruto's chakra points, but something was blocking her attacks. An invisible barrier that seemed to stop her every time she tried.
Despite her numerous attempts, today was no different. "I...I can't seem to hit you. It's like there's something blocking my attacks," Hinata confessed, panting from her strenuous efforts.
Naruto flashed a grin, finding her confusion amusing. "Well, that's because there is."
Hinata looked at him, puzzled.
"I probably should've told you this earlier, but it's high time you knew," Naruto said, his tone becoming serious. Hinata simply nodded, waiting for him to continue.
"Let's keep training, and I'll explain everything as we go," Naruto offered. Hinata agreed, ready to understand the mystery behind Naruto's technique.
As they carried on with their training, Naruto explained his Infinity technique and how it functioned.
Post-training, they rested under a tree. "So, this Infinity technique of yours, it's invincible?" Hinata asked.
"I'm not really sure," Naruto shrugged, gazing at the sky. "I haven't met anyone who could break it yet. But I believe everything has a limit. Even if I call it Infinity, there's probably some limit that I haven't discovered yet."
"Does it drain your chakra?" Hinata probed.
"Honestly, I've never really thought about that," Naruto admitted, a thoughtful look on his face.
The two continued their conversation, discussing their training and ways to enhance Hinata's strength against Naruto's Infinity technique.
As the evening crept in, Naruto and Hinata decided to grab a bite at Ichiraku Ramen, a regular haunt for them due to Naruto's fondness for the place.
Occasionally, they'd switch things up and dine at the BBQ joint or other places that Hinata preferred.
However, Hinata once confessed that she didn't have any particular favorites and enjoyed a wide variety of dishes.
After their meal at Ichiraku Ramen, Naruto escorted Hinata back home before bidding her goodnight.
Despite the urge to start learning the Flying Raijin technique from the scroll waiting for him at home, Naruto was too exhausted from their training session.
He decided to call it a night after a refreshing bath and settled into a peaceful slumber.
[A.T :Ok I took 2 Days gap , Not because I was busy writing but my exams , it's still going on but I just wrote it . Though I am not 100% sure if this chapter is up to the mark or not, but I'm feeling weird at this moment . Plus this chapter is more or less a filler. Cause I want to start The Land of river mission arc in a different and new chapter, that's why I wrote this 51% filler chapter. Anyways from now on I can confirm
3 chapter at least every week. But I'm sure I'll do more but it's at least 3 chapter fixed.
About Fuinjutsu, I tried to write as much I can and than I just gave up and thought to just change the subject
I think I can be a good politician]
