In the heart of the Hokage's quarters...
Hiruzen was stationed behind his desk, a solemn look painted across his face as his gaze met Naruto's. He had just unveiled to Naruto the truth about his parents, about the enormous wealth of 200 million Ryu they had left behind, and about Naruto being the sole inheritor of this fortune.
Naruto stared wide-eyed, struggling to comprehend the enormity of the news. "200 million Ryu? That's...that's beyond belief! All I thought they had left me were their love and cherished memories until you mentioned this last night."
Hiruzen maintained his steady gaze, nodding. "My original plan was for you to inherit this when you were old enough. But I've chosen to share this with you now, as a symbol of appreciation for everything you've faced. You have demonstrated not only your physical prowess but also the size of your heart. It's time you received what's rightfully yours."
Naruto's mind was a tempest of mixed emotions. The idea that his parents had left such a vast amount for him was beyond his wildest dreams. His mind raced, thinking of all the doors this inheritance could open for him. But then, a wave of sadness washed over him as he realized this fortune was a result of his parents' sacrifice.
Hiruzen laid a hand on Naruto's shoulder, his smile a beacon of comfort. "I realize this might be a lot to take in, but I trust in your judgment to handle this inheritance responsibly. Your parents would want nothing more than for you to live a life filled with joy and fulfillment."
Naruto nodded, his eyes ablaze with resolve. "I'll honor their memory and use this wealth to make a positive impact. I'll continue to safeguard the village and make them proud."
Hiruzen's smile grew broader, his eyes gleaming with pride as he looked at Naruto. "I have no doubt that you will, Naruto."
"Now, let's discuss Fuinjutsu, when are you planning to start my training?" Naruto inquired.
"Actually, I won't be the one..." Hiruzen started, but was interrupted by Naruto.
"Hey, that's not fair! You promised you'd teach me Fuinjutsu just last night," Naruto protested.
"Naruto, let me finish," Hiruzen retorted. "What I mean is, I won't be the one to personally teach you Fuinjutsu, as my time is limited. However, I can provide you with a scroll that will guide you in learning Fuinjutsu on your own."
"So, the scroll contains the formulas and all the information on 'how to use' Fuinjutsus?" Naruto questioned.
"Indeed, the sealing Jutsus of your clan are also inscribed on it. I believe you've shown enough maturity that I can trust you to comprehend the scroll by yourself," Hiruzen confirmed.
"Great, give me that scroll then. I can't wait to dive into it and soak up all the knowledge," Naruto responded eagerly.
"Hold your horses, Naruto. You will get the scroll, but not right now. Kakashi will bring it to you tomorrow."
"But why not now, Gramps?" Naruto asked, curious and slightly annoyed.
"There are reasons I can't disclose, but rest assured, you'll have it tomorrow. Kakashi will deliver it to you after your mission," Hiruzen clarified.
"Okay, I'll wait. But I want that scroll by tomorrow, no excuses." Naruto said firmly.
"Sure, if I've promised it for tomorrow, then tomorrow it is," Hiruzen assured.
"Right, we all know what happened when you said 'today.'" Naruto retorted with a smirk as he stood up from his chair. "See you later, Gramps." With that, Naruto exited the office.
After exiting the Hokage's office, Naruto made a beeline for Ichiraku Ramen. Some things never changed, and his love for ramen was one of them.
Upon finishing his meal, Naruto stepped outside, his heightened senses immediately picking up on a familiar presence.
A soft rustle, the faintest exhale, a whiff of lavender in the air. A smile spread across his face, even though it was hidden behind his blindfold. He knew who it was.
"Naruto-kun," a timid voice spoke up.
"Hinata, right?" Naruto turned in her direction, a light grin on his lips. "Did you enjoy your meal?"
The sudden question caught Hinata off guard, her cheeks blushing a soft pink. "Yes, I did. Thank you... Did you?"
"Absolutely!" Naruto replied with his usual enthusiasm. His love for ramen was undying. "I've noticed you always leave just as I'm arriving, don't you?"
"Ah, um, it's just... coincidence," Hinata stuttered, her gaze briefly straying from Naruto before returning to the blindfold covering his eyes.
He let out a warm chuckle. "Are you sure? Because if it was a coincidence, you'd arrive when I'm leaving at least once, right?"
Hinata's heart pounded in her chest at his playful teasing. "I... I wanted to talk to you, Naruto-kun. But you always seem... busy."
"I'm never too busy for a friend," Naruto said softly, his head tilting in thought. "I'm sorry if I seemed that way."
"No, no!" Hinata quickly denied, anxious to retract her statement. "You're... always helping everyone. And you're working hard to be strong."
"I do have my goals," Naruto admitted, nodding slightly. "But hey, I always have time for ramen and... time for you, if you ever want to train or chat."
Hinata's eyes widened, hope kindling within them. "Train... with me?"
"Why not?" Naruto's grin broadened. "You're strong, Hinata. Maybe you can help me improve my... unique sense. You're really quiet, which makes for good practice."
A spark of determination flickered in Hinata's eyes. "I'd like that. I need to get stronger too. Maybe we can help each other?"
"Deal!" Naruto declared confidently. "Let's start tomorrow! Meet me at the training grounds. Okay?"
"Alright," Hinata conceded, her characteristic timidity melting into a warm, hopeful grin.
As Naruto bid her farewell and made his way back home, his thoughts didn't fixate on his peculiar vision or the enormity of his powers. Instead, it was the sheer happiness of forming a new bond, the anticipation of becoming more powerful, and the subtle thrill for the promises tomorrow held that occupied his mind.
Upon reaching his apartment, Naruto sunk into his chair, mulling over the revelations he had just come across - the knowledge that he was the offspring of the 4th Hokage and his mother was Kushina Uzumaki.
"The Namikaze... they are my father's kin. I totally overlooked inquiring about my paternal clan from Jii-chan," Naruto pondered.
"Perhaps, I'll pose the question tomorrow."
"Can I ever reach the level of strength my father possessed? Jii-chan's words about him, paint a picture of one of the mightiest Shinobi. Do I possess the potential to match that level of strength?" Naruto questioned, his mind a whirlpool of doubt.
"Absolutely not," Naruto rose from his seat, walked up to the mirror, and unfastened his blindfold, "I have to match the strength of my father and mother. I will become the Hokage of this village. Like my father, I'll also strive to safeguard this village and those dear to me. This is my self-made vow, my pledge to my parents." Naruto declared, his eyes brimming with confidence and resolve to preserve his father's legacy.
Naruto perched on the table, his mind drifting back to the modified Rasengan he had crafted by fusing it with his wind style...
He gave it another shot, but the outcome was identical to the previous attempts. Naruto contemplated that it's adept for close combat, but I'll need something for distant attacks too.
Naruto mulled over the possibilities, "What if I can hurl it?!" A thoughtful expression painted his face as he pondered this new idea.
Naruto dedicated some time to practice and slowly decipher the essence of the "wind-style-Rasengan", a name he came up with.
He initiated by trying to launch the primary variant of the Rasengan, but after a while, he felt exhaustion creeping in and decided to give it another go later.
As the evening crept in, Naruto prepared his meal. After satiating his hunger, he surrendered to a restful slumber.
The Following Day.....
Naruto bumps into his squad and notices Kakashi's early presence. He shoots Kakashi a surprised glance and exclaims, "Kakashi-sensei, you're actually punctual for a change? It's hard to swallow! This should go down in the annals of the Hidden Leaf as 'The Day Kakashi was on schedule'." Naruto remarked with a cheeky grin.
"Alright, enough with the wisecracks," Kakashi retorted, "Just for your information, I never falter on my mission timings." He then handed over a scroll, "The Hokage gave this to me to pass onto you."
"Appreciate it, Sensei." Naruto responded with a grin.
Kakashi gave a nod of acknowledgement while Sasuke's curiosity piqued.
"What's that you got there, Naruto?" Sasuke queried.
Naruto, who was tucking away the scroll Kakashi had just handed him, answered, "This scroll? It's Fuinjutsu."
"Fuinjutsu? Why would the Hokage give that to you?" Sakura finally voiced her curiosity.
Sasuke intended to ask the same, but Sakura beat him to it, so he merely nodded in agreement. "He's continually outpacing me," Sasuke brooded, thinking about Naruto mastering new techniques and increasing his strength.
"Well, I expressed a desire to grasp the Jutsu my clan is renowned for... So, I sought advice from Jii-chan who suggested I learn Fuinjutsu. I'll find that Jutsu in here as well." Naruto disclosed with a smile.
Sasuke's worry deepened, realizing Naruto was acquiring knowledge to enhance his strength even further.
Kakashi, taken aback, asked Naruto, "You're going to master that?"
Naruto affirmed, "Yes. I aspire to match my Dad's strength."
"Understood..." Kakashi agreed, guiding them to receive their task for the night.
En route, Sakura queried with interest, "Speaking of which, who is your father, Naruto?"
Sasuke was quietly attentive, as he shared the same curiosity.
"Ah... Well, it's top secret for now. I'm not strong enough yet to share the details. My apologies, Sakura-chan."
Sakura responded, "No problem, it just piques my interest even more."
"One day, I'll fill you in," Naruto assured with a slight grin, "And you as well... Mr. Quiet..." He glanced at Sasuke, who glared back at him.
Naruto simply grinned wider.
Once the mission of retrieving a lost cat was completed, Naruto bid his team and Kakashi farewell. Kakashi then left to report the mission's outcome to the Hokage.
Naruto made a beeline for his flat.
Inside Naruto's home...
.
.
Upon arriving, Naruto took a bath, then moved to the dining table and sat down.
He took out the scroll given to him by Hiruzen, with the intention to learn the Fūinjutsu techniques.
Naruto unrolled the scroll and began to study Fūinjutsu. This involved the sealing of objects, living beings, and various elements inside another object. Fūinjutsu could also be used to limit movements or unseal objects. Seals could be identified by the appearance of technique formations and symbols.
After extensive study of Fūinjutsu, Naruto learned that there are several kinds. Basic Fūinjutsu techniques involve using a scroll to seal items such as weapons, while more advanced techniques can seal humans and tailed beasts, although this wasn't detailed in the current scroll.
Applying Fūinjutsu required substantial calligraphy skills, which Naruto had acquired from Hiruzen during his younger years, never imagining it would be used like this.
[A.T - Now I don't have too much knowledge of how you learn Fuinjutsu, I've been researching about them for 2 days on the internet but I'm not good at understanding or studying things so after all my reading, I can say it will take more time. But I'll try to do my best.]
He inscribed the [Weapon Sealing Mark] onto a scroll and attempted to place a kunai on top while making a hand seal with his right hand.
"Seal!"
The first attempt didn't work, likely because the Fuinjutsu was not infused with chakra. As a result, he decided to infuse the Fuinjutsu with chakra.
With a shout of "Seal!" the symbol lit up and successfully absorbed the kunai placed on it.
"So that's how it works, huh?" Naruto mumbled to himself as he continued experimenting with Fuinjutsu.
"Release!" Again with a hand seal with one hand and the kunai was once again freed from the mark.
He repeated the process over and over.
"Seal!"
"Release!"
"Seal!"
He saw that the seal wasn't very effective and the mark began to fade after being used 10 times.
Hence, he continued to delve into the art of Fuinjutsu, uncovering some techniques uniquely distinctive to the Uzumaki lineage. "Understood!" Naruto exclaimed to himself. "Indestructible Sealing Chains..." he voiced aloud.
Immediately succeeding that, he experienced a rapid heartbeat and an unusual sensation within his physique. "What's happening at this moment?".
