Eyeing the map, Riku immediately took note of how the entire Deep Blue was structured. It would seem that currently, they were only on a small Depth at the very top of the whole place, with the Themis's Realm itself being the biggest at the very bottom of his area. Each Depth seemed to spiral downward before ending at the main Depth of the entire Realm itself, and the same could be said all the way down to the very bottom of the Deep Blue.
Suffice to say, it was a very long way down to the end of this Game.
"The Deep Blue is a world separate from the world of man. There are many worlds out there, but the home of the Gods is nothing short of a grand adventure for any brave soul willing to venture deep into it," Themis explained, his model of the Deep Blue seemingly coming alive as motes of light sparkled around it. "You will have to survive each Depth like it is your last, or perhaps thrive if you are truly capable of doing such. Fight through our creations, your fellow Champions, all for the glory of your patron deity and the fulfillment of your wishes. And as for the Realms themselves, I am sure that your respective patron deities will be enough to brief you on what to expect, so let's move on to proper introductions."
Almost immediately as the map beside Themis appeared, it quickly disintegrated with but another snap of his fingers. At the same time, the platform the gods were on began transforming into something grander. The light around them seemed to focus on each and every single god, giving them a literal spotlight as the introductions began.
"As I've already introduced myself earlier, I will simply repeat myself if I said anything further," Themis sternly scoffed as he gave way to the center of the stage. "As the God of Order, I, Themis, cede the stage to my fellow gods."
"Oh, I guess I should introduce myself next as the Second of the Thirteen."
The god that took the stage next was someone that looked as laid back as he sounded. With long silver hair and blue robes, the man almost looked like he was surrounded by celestial bodies as stars and light gravitated to him like a small miniature galaxy.
"Yo, Astra, God of Space here," the newly-introduced Astra lazily waved at them with a casual smile. "Not much to say, to be honest. I just hope we all have a good time and all that."
Riku took note of the disapproving look Themis flashed the younger god as he left the center stage before it quickly returned to what was probably his normal stoic expression. It would seem that despite being the one in charge, there was very little control Themis could exert on his siblings.
"My turn then," the next god casually introduced himself as he stepped forward. Rocking a black and violet jacket, he almost looked like a modern day pretty boy with his short silver hair. "I'm Ymir, the God of the Beginning. I suppose this is the beginning of a wonderful journey, so I'll be sure to bless you all as is my duty."
The former assassin simply nodded. It would seem that the introductions were being done in a hurry based on how they quickly shuffled from god to god. Themis was also clearly making sure that everything went smoothly while this was happening.
"Haha! Now it's my turn!" the next god heartily laughed. This one was practically bare chested, displaying muscle upon muscle as he flashed them a thousand-watt smile and a pose that put professional bodybuilders to shame. "I'm Brahma, the God of Creation! I'm pleased to see our Champions eager to show what they can do! I'll be looking forward to any possible creations you might all come up in this Game!"
The god then left with one last flex of his biceps. Truly, these gods were looking to be rather eccentric.
"Ah, it's finally my turn~" the next deity airily said as she stepped up the stage. Her light blow gown almost seemed to flow around her like water as her light blue hair shimmered with glints of morning dew. "I am Kali, the Goddess of Flow. I do hope that we all get along, and I sincerely hope our time here together will be a fruitful one."
Themis gave the goddess a nod of approval before ushering the next one. Or rather, the next ones as two goddesses stepped up to the stage. They almost looked like the complete opposite of one another with one being as radiant as the sun while the other being as subtle as the moon. From what Riku recalled, the former was Solis, and he could only assume that the other silver-haired goddess was her twin with how similar their faces were. They also wore similar looking circlets, each depicting the sun and the moon respectively for both of them.
"I am Solis, Goddess of Life."
"And I am Luna, Goddess of Death."
"We are the twin deities of life and death," Solis continued with a smile, much to her twin's mild annoyance. "We have our own separate Realms, and we clearly do not like each other."
"And yet we are forced to work together for we are two sides of the same coin," Luna spoke with a cold frown. "Our Champions may do the same, but we sincerely suggest not to."
Turning his gaze back to his fellow Champions, Riku noted two distinct women nodding at the goddess' warnings. The one with the scythe and the nurse both acknowledged the warning, which probably meant they were the Champions in question. Based on appearances alone, the blonde scythe user was probably Luna's Champion with the nurse being Solis's.
After all, the gods seemed to stick to a stereotype. He could only assume that their Champions would embody their attributes as well.
