Still, as much as Riku didn't blame Stephen for leaving, he was annoyed at the fact that the adventurers around him began losing morale. Their movements became slower, their attacks losing much of their power as if they've already given up. Thankfully, he spotted Lexa and her group still giving their all, but losing more of what little they still had would be detrimental to their continued survival.
"Don't lose hope, everyone!" Shizu shouted. "We're still here! And everyone move ten degrees left!"
The former couldn't help but chuckle at his companion's impromptu encouragement. It was far from enough to really raise morale, but her instructions were more than enough to keep these people alive to keep up with the distractions.
"We're not doing any damage anymore!" one adventurer cried out.
"Nothing works!" another cried out. "My spells are bouncing off!"
