"Riku? I'm over here!"
"Get away from them, Lexa! They're impostors!"
"Shizu? Is that you?!"
The familiar sound of their own voices began echoing from beyond the fog as Riku kept as close to his own group as possible. If these Doppelgangers were capable of mimicking their voices, then who knows what else they were capable of? They could probably copy their movements and mannerisms, and maybe even their appearances down to a tee. There was also a chance that they could copy even their powers, but that didn't sound plausible with how their abilities were given to them by the gods.
Then again, the Deep Blue had already given them a lot of fantastical creatures and sights. There might just be some random creature in it that could essentially replace them given enough time and the opportunity.
"They really sound like us," Shizu gasped, her voice betraying her fear and anxiety even as her hands remained steady. "This is weird..."
