Walking deeper into the enclosure, Riku couldn't help but feel a sense of deja vu as forests and hills as far as the eye could see began appearing all around them. There were a few adventurers loitering about and camping, with some even cooking their own meals in their own campfires, but otherwise, it was very much a normal looking forest with no monster in sight.

Somehow, he had a feeling there was an explanation for that.

"So, all we have to do now is to kill a monster and take back some loot, right?" Shizu eagerly asked as she looked around for them. "There's bound to be some we can kill out here so that we can get things over with."

"Yeah... about that..."

Lexa's apprehensive tone broke Shizu's wonder as the fortune teller turned to look at her. Meanwhile, Riku couldn't help but smirk as he anticipated his hunch being proven right. Surely, there was more to this test than hunting monsters. Otherwise, what kind of test would it be to begin with?
