"What do you mean 'you're busy?' Weren't you supposed to come back to us?"
Riku couldn't help the hint of annoyance seeping into his tone the more he heard from his missing goddess. Although, judging by the genuine anger in her tone, she was probably dealing with something that was actually in line with her duties as a goddess. This wasn't what she told them she would do, however.
"You got Nyx on the line?" Shizu quickly asked.
"She's busy, apparently," he replied with a shrug. "With what? I have no idea. I'm sure we'll get our answers soon enough though."
/I mean I'm busy, my Champion!/ Nyx practically shouted in his head, her voice sounding much more strained than usual. /I'll come back to you two shortly, alright?! Just don't get killed out there!/
