A Human Perspective

What is the difference between a human and his dog? The answer is that the dog doesn't get to choose to follow the human. If the difference between the dog and the human is that great, what is the difference between that same human and the ants beneath them?

What human cares about what goes on in the ant's world. The gods are those strange children who like to play with those ants, observing them, giving them food, then stepping on them when they are done.

Most of the gods are not fun at all. They enjoy sitting around bathing in the filthy faith that the ants like to give them, and when the ants stop they step on them and find new ants to play with.

I much prefer showing the ants where to go, it's more fun that way. However I have a bad habit of forgetting worlds that I used to play with.

For the past millennia since I had been forgotten on earth I have been searching for a new world. When I suddenly remembered an old plaything. I traveled to a world I dubbed Avalon.

Compared to earth it was much more exciting since I gave them my magic. Much to my dismay not many remembered me.

For some reason this bothered me. Me, their creator had given them everything and now they worship some non existent deity named God. Just like earth.

I have a name I'll have you know.

I was for some reason driven to get this world to remember me. So I gave a blessing to some humans I deemed interesting. They had caught my eye because they were the same so I wanted to deviate their paths like rivers from a mountain then have them meet again.

OOOOH I love stories like that.

Even if it doesn't work out I have an eternity to make it work.

I am greatly intrigued how this will play out.
