"Squeal..." The ear-piercing sound of brakes tore through the sky as the white sedan skidded to a halt by Claudia Ross's legs.
Claudia's heart nearly stopped in fright.
She instinctively stepped back, her legs trembling uncontrollably, watching as the white sedan backed up and drove away, its occupants not even offering an apology.
Claudia hastened into the campus, returning to her dormitory, where the other three roommates had already moved in, just like Claudia, all were teachers at Rivile University, but not in the same college.
The three introduced themselves one by one.
Percival Landog from the College of Materials Science, Fiona Muller from the College of Literature and Communication, Dania Langster from the College of Foreign Languages, and Claudia herself from the College of Business Management.
All colleagues, they got along fairly well. That evening, Claudia invited everyone to dinner and then took a walk around the campus.
