The next morning, I was standing in front of the Luxury King Hotel. It was one of the top hotels in the country. It was very big, luxurious and professional. Most of the big and secret business meetings were held in here. From this country, Canada and from abroad too. I thought, why did he asked me to come here just to meet for one restaurant? It was not a big deal, or a big business talk. Then why?
I was wearing a brown coloured pleated mid calf length dress with a white double breasted blazer. On the foot, I wore a pair of white coloured pointed - toe D'osary heels. I wore a pair of small diamond earrings. Soft, but professionally sharp makeup with pink nude lipstick colour. My wavy dark brown hairs were parted from left and tucked behind my ear on the left, and rest of the hairs were falling on my back and on my right shoulder. I was carrying a mini black hand purse with me. I was looking so professional, beautiful, just perfect.
I moved my feets towards the entrance. I wanted to know that man. Who the hell was he? Why he wanted to meet me so secretly? Maybe, just maybe I will get my answers from the past... If he knows me of course.
As I entered, a man in a black suit came in front of me. He was looking like he was in his early thirties. He came in front of me and greeted me.
"Good morning Ms. Yang. I am Jack Rodriguez. You can address me as Jack. I am personal assistant of Mr. Romano. "
I looked at him confused, "Mr. Romano? "
"Oh, yes. You probably are not aware about him. My apologies. Mr. Romano is the one who invited you to meet here Ms. Yang. "
"Oh, so his surname is Romano, I wonder why he didn't tell me his name. " I said raising my right eyebrow at him. My siren eyes looking at him, telling him to answer me.
"No miss, Sir likes to keep low profile Ms. Yang. He will tell you his name when you will meet him, when the time will come. I will lead you towards your table. Follow me Ms. Yang. "
"why should I call him Mr. Romano? " I asked with furrowed eyebrows.
"You will soon know his name miss. " he responded me with a smile and lead me to my table.
We reached to a personal place, it was big. There was a big table with just two chairs facing each other. There was a big wall window, the view of city from there was something, so beautiful.
I sat on one of the chairs and looked up at Jack, giving him a questioning look. Asking why I was alone here? Where is that mysterious man?
"Sir will be here in a short time. You can enjoy the hospitality of the hotel till then. " he left after saying this.
I looked around the place. No one was around the place. Silence, just silence was there. It was a personal dining room, where business talk are being held. With cold dim lights on. It was sound proof. It was the type of some luxury dining room. Of course it is, because it was Luxury King Hotel.
I took out the card that David had gave me. I looked at the logo saying 'NR'.
"Who is this guy? Why he is acting like he knows me? What's the matter? " I asked myself.
While I was staring at the card, a waitress entered the room. She placed a glass of water in front of me. Then she asked, "Ma'am, would you like anything else from the menu? Any drink or anything to eat? "
"No, I am good. Thank you. " I held a smile and thanked the waitress. Waitress left after bowing at me. I drank the water.
After few minutes, Jack came in. I looked up at him, I saw blood marks. A gun in his hand. I looked up at him, shocked yet terrified. I didn't heard anything because the room was sound proof.
He rushed towards me, he was looking worried, he was having so many blood stains. He asked,
"Ms. Yang, are you alright? Did any person came in or gave you anything to, drink or to eat? "
"I just drank the water that the waitress gave me. Why? What happened? What is happening outside? That.... Blood.. " I asked in a confusing yet questioning tone. I was scared of guns and blood.
A girl who is not scared of anything or anyone, is scared of guns and blood. Because somewhere, her past haunts her.
"Miss You need to come with me" he said and started coming towards me.
"wait, what? I just came to meet—" before I could finish the sentence, my head started spinning. ".....what is going on..? " I was holding my head, it was hurting me.
"Miss You have been drugged. You need to come with us. " he said and watched me as I started losing my mind and my senses.
"where... Is Mr. Romano...? " I was not in a position to stand still.
"He is taking care of this problem outside. Our enemies has tried to drug you. He came back from Sicily. " Jack told me.
"Enemies...?"
Just then, some men came in the room and started shooting. Jack pointed gun at them, and started shooting at them.
I saw everything
The guns.
The noises of the guns.
The murders.
The blood bath.
The crimson red blood.
Everything.
I was so terrified, I started trembling. One man grabbed my hand and pointed a gun at my head. I was trembling so much. I was no more the dangerous woman. My head was spinning.
'Bang'... I heard a gun shot. My heart stopped. Silence was so loud in my ears.
I lost my consciousness. My legs got numb, I fainted there. The gun shot has came from behind me. The gun was shot by none other than Mr. Romano. The bullet went right through the man's head who was pointing the gun at my head. Mr. Romano was behind me, so I didn't saw him. No, one saw him. Before I can look up, I collapsed.
The next day, when I opened my eyes, I groaned. My head was still a bit hurting. I looked up at my surroundings, it was very unknown place. It was not my home, nor my grandmother's or nor my office. Where was I?
I looked at myself, I was wearing a white gown. I was shocked at my clothes, I hugged myself. Who changed it? I found myself in a big bed. I was in a giant room with a strange feeling. It was new, I had never been to a place like this. Where was I?
It was a big room, with dim lights and a unknown fragrance. But the fragrance was so good.
I looked at the table beside me. There was a pill and a glass of water, beside it, it was my purse. I took the pill and gulp it down with water.
I was going to get off of the bed but then the massive big double doors opened up.
